What is satisfaction ?

This is really an amazing question in quest of inner-peace and to achieve the state of nirvana.

I often use to hear from people that they are in search of some kind of satisfaction or whatever they do towards that seems less. (Literally some talk about Rolling Stones version of satisfaction :P)

Lot of people and preachers use to say that If you want a peace full life (or I say piece full of life) , learn to be self-satisfied. I wish if they have some kind self-satisfaction pills or 21 day course which can be pop-in to dilute all illusions offered by materialistic world.

A common middle class man is not satisfied because he wants a high profile life with full of luxuries and a Richie-rich  is not satisfied  because he can not get down from his car to enjoy street food with the family.

This example may conclude that their can not be any definite theory to achieve satisfaction as In it self satisfaction is a variable concept.(depending on person to person and their priorities in life.)

Lets do an small exercise :

Do you  remember what was the first career option you wanted to choose when you learnt about the concept of working for the first time.
(I guess for at least once in life,We all think in this way )

And now answer yourself honestly : Are you living that life ?
Now life is getting driven by your passion and enthusiasm or by your needs and sacrifices. ?

I hope with this little introspection,  I should be able to reach to a common understanding of satisfaction :
Building of satisfaction needs a strong foundation based on clear priorities and further by prioritized actions.

If you know what you want and you decide to drive your life only in that direction, No thing or person in this world would be able to  stop you from being satisfied and this feeling(only achieved after hard labor) is what I see as something called as state of self-satisfaction.

PS : Never confuse self satisfaction with compromise, Do identify your priorities in life and pledge to work like a clock to achieve them.

This is where feeling of satisfaction stays, tightly coupled to a happy soul.

Happy Living  :)
